Full Time Enterprise Oracle Architect

The Enterprise Oracle Architect/Development Team Leader plays a key role in defining the IT application roadmap(s), using technology to enable business process automation, and leading the development capability to deliver enterprise solutions. This person aligns strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding IT products and services; partners and suppliers; organizational capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives. The role works to develop an integrated view of the enterprise using a repeatable approach, cohesive software development frameworks, and available industry standard techniques.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Utilize the current application portfolio (Oracle EBS 12.2.x, Salesforce, Hyperion, Microsoft BI, APEX, etc.) to enable business processes
• System integration expertise focused on automating system interconnects (ex. BPEL, SOA, Informatica, XML gateway, etc.)
• Review the systems landscape and build business cases to optimize and improve the environment
• Develop execution plans and roadmaps to help realize business strategies
• Define strategic initiatives on the roadmap and facilitate project initiation
• Help identify business drivers for projects and initiatives
• Review project scope and planned approach to ensure alignment with technical architecture
• Perform gap analysis between capabilities and requirements to meet business goals
• Track industry trends to feed into the road-mapping process
• Foster a climate that supports relationship building and collaboration between the business and IT
• Partner with business and IT to facilitate identification and adoption of best practices
• Lead the development area with experience in offshore development models; optimize 3rd party development spending and quality of delivery
• Ensure the system/application hosting environment best meets the business needs (i.e. insource, outsource, cloud, etc.)
• Define and enhance the software development lifecycle
• Ensure controls and audit requirements are met by all development staff

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree

Experience Required:
• Multiple initiatives leading to the implementation and support of Oracle EBS R12 modules
• Field Operations systems and processes
• Financial and production accounting systems and processes
• Regulatory systems and processes Technical Skills Required
• Oracle EBS R12: Service, Supply Chain Order Management, Finance and Human Resources
• Oracle EBS R12: APEX, BPEL, SOA, Oracle Forms, PL/SQL
• Business intelligence/analytics – IoT in oil and gas preferred
• Software engineering/SDLC process ownership
• Agile methodology experience Technical Skills Preferred
• Big data analytics (i.e. Hadoop, Tableau)
• Hosting provider knowledge (i.e. Oracle PaaS, AWS, Azure, traditional outsourcers)
• Oil and Gas field service automation
• Database management experience
• Business Process Management
• Business process modeling
• Business process analysis
